Homeland Security USA portrays members of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security performing their day-to-day duties. It is the American version of the Australian reality show Border Security. The show premiered on January 6, 2009 on ABC. The hour-long show aired once a week on Tuesdays at 8:00PM Eastern/7:00PM Central for 8 episodes. However, due to low ratings, the last 5 episodes will be aired during the summer season. The program aired in Australia under the name Border Security USA.
